South Cotabato Hosts NSPC 2008

National Schools Press Conference or NSPC is an annual gathering of elementary and secondary schools where the bests of all the regions all throughout the Philippines gather and compete on the different events and field of writing. These events are the News Writing, Editorial, Headline Writing and Copyreading, Cartooning, Sports Writing, Feature Writing and Photojournalism where each event has two categories: English Category and Filipino Category.

In this year, the said gathering will be hosted by the Province of South Cotabato in the region of SOCSKSARGEN starting from the 18th of February until the 22th.

As of now, the contests are still going. Everyone has yet to know who will bag the gold medals- those who will bring home to their respective regions the bacon.

Update:

I was not able to properly follow the event so I could not provide you the details for the conclusion of the national event. In consolation, I would like to congratulate everyone who have participated in the said event especially to the winners who have bagged the prize for their success.

  6. Congratulations to your son/daughter! Being a national champion is definitely not for everyone- only few enjoys the wonderful taste of its glory.

I’m so sorry I could not provide you with the proper links for the said event but you could try “www.southcotabato.gov.ph” or “www.koronadal.gov.ph”.

The Province of South Cotabato hosted the NSPC 2008 but the contests were mostly held in the City of the Koronadal inside the said province.

I’ve not personally checked if they had provided photos for this national event, but you could still try your luck.

Thanks for checking in my site and best regards.
